- Item #: 2009S1
In an effort to restore the educational arm to the Body of Christ UCMA has created a formational program that challenges the minister to consider his or her calling both providential and professional. It is this association’s belief that ministers of the gospel need spiritual and professional development to include studies in Business Applications, Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Christology, Leadership and Research Topics in Comparative Religion.
Ministerial candidates will first complete the UCMA Member’s Application, and select the appropriate and desired credentialing program (Deacon, Licensed Minister, or Ordained Minister) as appropriate. The application process requires a completed application form, ministry resume and biography, two recommendation letters, photocopies of any current certifications, degrees, or previous ministry credentials, and payment of the UCMA application fee. Please note: If the fee is not paid the application will not be processed.
Once accepted as a UCMA member you will be contacted by several people to include the Overseer, the Credentialing Director, UCMA’s Chief Administrator, and finally your Mentoring Elder (if applicable). Your Mentoring Elder will guide you through the credentialing process, as well as serve as a sounding board for years to come.
In order to meet the education challenge of God through our founder, Dr. D. R. Williams, Sr. a credentialing tables have been constructed to clarify credentialing requirements. Please download the Credentialing Information Booklet for detailed information.
This UCMA Credentialing Program is self paced and ends with a capstone credentialing examination.
